Blastoff Network
It looks like everything is finally under control at the Blastoff Network. In fact, they just started their promotion with Pizza Hut, displaying ads on the Pizza Hut website and pizza boxes themselves. While that is good news for the company it has upset some of the early supporters who were told they would get a two week exclusive prior to the public launch.
So why is this such a big deal and why did Pizza Hut pay a rumored $30 million to get in on it? The Blastoff Network basically signed deals with hundreds of companies and every time a member makes a purchase they get a small percentage back. In addition, you can invite your friends and family and whoever else to join and whenever they make a purchase you also get a piece of that! Yes, the amount are fairly small but if you sign up enough people, especially with all the holiday shopping coming up it can add it without any real effort at all.
Ok, so back Pizza Hut. The only way to join the network right now if either through someone who is already a member or through Pizza Hut. In another week or so, that will change and they will launch to the public and anyone will be able to go directly to the company website and sign up themselves. You make the same amount of money regardless of how you sign up, the difference is, if you sign up now you have a better chance of finding people to sign up under you prior to the public launch.

Blastoff Network
In the ‘how not to launch your product department’ we found our earlier prediction regarding the Blastoff launch to be partially correct. We anticipated huge amounts of people would be logging in to their Blastoff account and sending out invites to all of their friends and family.
The deluge of email turned out not to be a problem because the number of people trying to log in crashed the system long before they had a chance to send out much of anything. I checked it out again and a few of the main site pages show up but most of the system is still not functional.
Yes, it’s a new venture and everyone can expect growing pains but come on, this should have been anticipated long ago. And now the pressure is on because they are suppose to launch with Pizza Hut next week and I hear they paid upwards of $30 million for that privelege.
Good news is once they fire all the people responsible for this mess there might actually be some jobs available.

Blastoff Network
In about 30 minutes the Blastoff Network is going to try to take off on their next launch phase. After teaming up with Pre-paid legal it appears they underestimated the number of associates they were bringing to the table. The original design of the invite system didn’t appear robust enough to handle all of their contacts.
From what I hear, that has been corrected and soon every Blastoff member can start inviting their friends and family members. And everyone will start getting the same email from everyone they know that has already joined (it’s free so why not). To help prevent all of those emails getting trapped by various SPAM systems, Blastoff has contacted all the big players to let them know this is coming. Members are limited to sending out 250 invites each at a time and can’t send out any more until those invites have been responded to in some way.
We’ll see what happens. And if your email system goes down this afternoon, now you’ll know why!

Small Business
Any person that has a basic knowledge of English as a language and can also navigate easily through computers will find it relatively easy to start up a internet based business of their own. There is nothing that should stop you from starting this project as hardly anything is ever really at stake even if you do fail. If you fail the first time, you should not give up though. These failures will only add to your experience & will make you much better equipped in order to deal with challenges that an internet based business will throw at you tomorrow. There is very little cost involved in these businesses. Here are a few simple steps that will help you ensure that your website generates lots of traffic:-
You need to know what you are looking for -
There are a large number of home based business opportunities available for you on the internet. You need to choose the one that suits you the best. You can classify your options into two broad categories, namely product based business & service business. Product based businesses need you to have sufficient knowledge of the markets as well as a business outlook. Do not think that you will have to attend B school in order to be able to run these websites successfully. You can understand how to make these home based businesses generate lots of traffic by following some of the large number of tutorials which are readily available around the internet for this specific purpose itself.
However, if you are not the kind of person that is interested in marketing then it is best for you to consider taking up service based businesses. These types of business demand a lot less out of you and there is not much you need to do initially to ensure that the site survives and starts generating ample traffic.
Defining the task:
As soon as you have decided the business that suits you perfectly as far as knowledge is concerned the first thing that you should do is to define what you wish to achieve and to make a schedule that clearly states the time period that you have given yourself for attaining each of the goals. You need more than a few skills if you wish to successfully run a home based business online. One advantage that you do have is that you can learn about this business on your own using the internet at a pace of your own. This will ensure that you can spend more time promoting your business than learning how to use your website. You will also learn how to upgrade your website as you start generating lots of traffic.
Take good care of any mile stones that you set:
If you set too many goals for yourself at the beginning, you will definitely have a lot of problems ensuring that they all are fulfilled. This may force your entire system to collapse and leave you with nothing. You should tread cautiously when you are starting out and should gather as much information as you can about your home based business. You should identify each milestone individually and work towards them one at a time.
At the end of the day, a tip that you will find the most helpful is quite simple, just start the business.

Small Business,
iTunes Moneymakers
Apple created an incredible business with iTunes leading to billions of downloads and global brand recognition. Here are some of top ways you can make money while they continue to take over the world!
1. Make music
Get your band together and promote your music without the infamous record companies. You will most likely still need some help as you’ll need to get a UPC code along with a few other things to make it happen. And you’ll also need to decide upfront how best to price your music and deal with commissions and fees. Here is a good guide that provides some details on getting started right.
2. Create a Podcast
If you are not musically inclined but have something to say nonetheless then a Podcast may be the answer. Once you have your first episode recorded here are the steps to get it online at iTunes. The final step, of course, is to monetize your Podcast using a service such as Premiumcast which allows you to charge people for listening to your Podcast. Once you sign up you can also make money referring people to other Podcasts as well.
3. Design an application
Don’t worry if you don’t have the programming skills to write one yourself because there are numerous people out there that will take your idea and make it a reality. Some will want to share the profits and others will take their fee upfront. If you have the technical skills and are eager to learn I would suggest checking out the courses that Stanford has created. It is an excellent course that you can find under iTunes U in the iTunes store.
4. Promote iTunes Online
If you have a decent website (Apple will have to review and accept it) you can place links and advertisements for various iTunes products and make 5% of the sale. To do so join the LinkShare Referral Program for free.
It is important to note however that you can’t make the commission on items you buy yourself, which leads us to our next tip.
5. Join a Shopping Network
While the Linkshare program above allows you to earn 5% of the sales from invidivuals that click on your links and make purchases there is also a way to earn 3% of everything you purchase along with a percentage of whatever your friends and family buy! Let’s say you spend $100 at iTunes. For starters you would get $3 back. Then if someone you invited to join were to spend $100 you would get 10 cents. You would also get that same 10 cents if anyone in your network (up to 10 levels) made a similar purchase. So make money shopping without any cost to you.
So there you have it, our top 5 tips for making money with iTunes. Good luck and let us know how much money you make!

Blastoff Network
Will it cost me anything to join the Blastoff Network?
Remember there is never a fee to join or invite others to join. You never have to make a purchase thru the Blastoff Network Mall, Wireless, Legal & Travel sections to earn income from others in your network who do make online purchases. You can grow your network of friends, family, acquaintances, etc. up to 10 degrees/levels to earn cash rewards back.
How are some people able to get 20 degrees/levels in their network and I only get 10?
This is where the Pre-Paid Legal partnership comes into play. If you are currently, or become, a PPL Associate with an active membership, you receive 20 degrees/levels of income earning potential thru Blastoff. Additionally, you have the opportunity to earn income anytime someone in your network purchases a PPL Legal Membership thru their Blastoff homepage. This can exponentially increase your income earning potential!
So when can I sign up?
- Now until October 11th: Only Pre-Paid Legal Associates can activate their own Blastoff Network homepage. We can sign-up others during this time who want to become PPL Associates who’d like to take advantage of the Blastoff Opportunity before the rest of the country
- October 12th until October 25th: The ONLY way you can join the Blastoff Network during this time frame is if:
A. You are invited directly by a PPL Associate.
B. You are invited directly by someone in a PPL Associate’s network to join (they don’t have to be PPL Associates themselves).
C. Click on the “Join” area of any Blastoff Network Members on or after October 12th to join their Network.

iTunes Moneymakers
- You have your first episode recorded. Make sure it’s in one of these formats that iTunes supports: .m4a, .mp3, .mov, .mp4, .m4v, and .pdf.
- Make sure your files are on a server with a publicly accessible URL, that you’ve created your RSS feeds properly, and put the URL of your RSS feed onto your server.
- Open up iTunes and the iTunes Store, and click on Podcasts.
- In the middle of the screen, amongst the numerous podcasts, there will be a button called “Submit a Podcast.”
- This will take you to a screen where it will request the URL for the podcast RSS feed that you would like to consider adding into the iTunes Store.
- Next, you will see a summary page. Depending on whether you have added tags already, a second screen might come up, asking you for more information–such as language, category, and whether the podcast requires explicit tags.
- Now, the final steps involves getting the iTunes staff approval. Soon, you should be able to find it via Search or Browse, and later, you can add more episodes if desired.
- Then of course, you can monetize your Podcast using a service such as Premiumcast which allows you to charge people for listening to your Podcast.
